SO our amazing ex head prefect and beautiful female class captain, oh wait we only had one class captain from the beginning anyway! MOVING ON, they said that bbq is boring they dont want bbq, so i suggested picnic, but seems like a lot of people wants bbq. so WHAT THE HECK DO YALL WANT!!!?????

Lol this blog is super quiet (other than the cbox where there are unknown people sprouting nonsense)

Here's a simple memory test (working memory to be exact) for the seemingly boring holidays...

Procedures:
1 Shuffle a deck of cards (without jokers preferably)
2 Place seven random cards face up
3 Memorise the order of cards in any way u want
4 After 30 seconds of memorising, flip the cards facedown
5 Reread the cards u memorised(eg backwards, increasing order)

the last step can be altered depending on ur preference.. (p.s flip open each card which u read out)

U got them all correct?? Congratz!!! u have very good working memory and should be able to study well. XD

Hello! this is the first post after the chalet and i decided i shall be the one to post it since.... since im here la.

okay honestly i felt the chalet was extraordinary and it wasnt spectacular, major reason being the rain, but thats no excuse and to be honest, i did enjoy myself, not the best of the way to end our year together, but the time spent together is great nonetheless, and so i would like to say i really enjoyed myself!

Time to meet: 4pm and BUNGALOW 11. the bus will drop you at the main entrance of the aloha loyang reception office, turn right to where the tennis court is and walk all the way till u find BUNGALOW 11, KINGFISHER.

THINGS TO BRING:

1.Ezlink card

2.Extra money, any amount.

3.Toiletries(towels, toothbrush, YOUR OWN toothpaste, shampoo, soap etc)

4.4 Sets of clothing (5 if you are crazy about cleaniness)

5.Bikinis and stuff, lol just kidding. SWIMMING stuff. (OPTIONAL)

6.All the balls you can possibly bring, volleyball, netball, soccerball, bowling ball! nah just kidding.serious bout the first part.

7.EXTREMELY RICH PPL can bring ur xbox with consoles and ps3s or whatever.it wont be stolen, i'll see to that.

8.Those who can, bring bottles of drinks and chips as tidbits so everyone can eat outside meal times. Plastic cups and all that will be settled by the class com.
Even better, those who can contribute maggi mee(those that need to be cooked)will be greatly loved.

Those who have thought of anything esle that is needed to be brought that i may have forgotten, please contact me.

Okay guys, previously the cost per person was $18, but that was only for the cost of the chalet and the bbq dinner on the 2nd day, the 5th of dec.

But after serious and solemn and really serious discussion, the cost shall be raised to 20 bucks and we will settle the other meals as well, which include breakfasts and lunches...and dinner(s). So those ppl who have paid the 18 bucks please bring an extra 2 bucks.

AND THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT PAID, PLEASE BRING THE MONEY!!!!!!!

lol the blog is SO dead. only a few people visit the blog despite it being the holidays (lol it defeats the purpose of having a CLASS BLOG, i think 4F is doing better than us...)

(lol some of u might know of this method) You all know how to multiply numbers right? but if u get to large numbers u will probably use these three methods: calculator, abacus and your mind if it is possible.

But WAIT, there is another method ( which will take u quite some time but the result is the same)and it is called

LATTICE MULTIPLICATION !!

Please refer to the following video below.

It is possible to use this method for larger numbers but it will be a bit of a hassle but is useful if u are in these scenarios:

i've decided to post cos no one has been posting, and cos im very bored.

ive decided to cut down the chalet cost from 20 bucks per person to 18 bucks per person!
and same thing if u have financial difficulties come to me personally, i will seriously help u settle it to the best i can, as long as yall can come for the chalet i'll be more than glad to help.

anyway continue to study hard for the Os, although it feels like just 4 weeks of continuous common tests, nonsensically relaxing dont yall think? if A levels is like this i'll gladly go JC!

okay anyway all the best, for all who thought geog sucked the life outta ya, dun give up, just get 45/50 for ss. lol 30 would most likely be ur real marks and 15 will come from moderation cos fairfield will own the other schools! lol just kidding. anyway dun be complacent about EMaths even though its seemingly so pathetically easy, they may decide to toughen it up by 10 times cos this is the last year!

okay guys push on!! and by the way the 18 bucks consist of the chalet and ONE BBQ which will be the 5th night which is the 2nd day. by the way for all who have forgotten, chalet is 4th to 6th december at aloha loyang in pasir ris i think.

heyhey!! thought that i would jux drop by and post before the actual Os begin tomolo(for those who dunno...yeah...tomolo is the first paper!!) well...let me begin by wat happened today for me...i didn't skip church jux to study...i figured God is more important than studys i mean...without God there wouldn't be studys!! hahas...anyway...when i was in church, my fren came up to me and noticed me and said this "heyy...u look damn tired la!! first time i see u so shag!!"...tat was when i realised wat studying geog for one whole day does to u! i think geog info overload was jux taking a toll on me...i noe all of u muz be thinking "wah...Nat so pro study one whole day of geog!"...actually not pro la...only managed to cover agri,manufacturing, tourism! =)
then i went up for main service...and the most amazing thing is tat i actually was wide awake throughout the whole service despite me being all tired and shag(for those who dunno shag means tired coz of sex...yeah...but...no...i didn't had sex...too young)..anyway...one thing that struck me while i was standing and worshiping God was that I needed God more than anything now that exams are nearing...its not more studying time that i needed most...it was God!! and right then and there, the worship theme was abt restoration and reconciliation with God! one thing that i would lyk to share with u all is to NOT stop ur personal time with God because of Os. u may think that "nah...it would only take away precious time from my studying" but...spending time with Him really helps! it does! so...let me challenge u all...everyday...jux take a moment anytime in the day and maybe jux do QT(quiet-time, in case YiBei doesn't noe..hahas..kidding)/pray or even read the Bible..

lastly, ALL THE BEST FOR Os!! WILL BE KEEPING U ALL IN PRAYER!! =D

I have been feeling troubled lately but I came across this short flash video about the hymn "It Is Well With My Soul". The writer wrote it even after he experienced many tragedies in his life. First his son died, followed by his four daughters whose ship had sunk. But he still was able to say "It Is Well With My Soul". You can find out more about him. He's called Horatio Spafford. Yep, have to agree with what Caleb says there... Spamming spam is not what I would consider worthy of a 16-year-old because that's what I did when I was 10. As what Joy would say (I believe): "SO CHILDISH!". But that doesn't have an impact, you see, so I'll just put it in my own words: Spamming makes you no better than the very people I am against. There, happy? If you don't get it, bang yourself or something, but not spam.

Anyways, on something of a glumier note, THE FLOWER THE 4E CLASS COMM. GAVE ME HAS DIED. Well, it should anyways cos not all memories last forever. One night the petals looked wilted, and the next, it died! Maybe another flower should be given on last day of Os? Or hopefully a pizza, eh? (Hope Mdm Liu reads this)...

okay got quite a number of things to say

1.firstly hu posted the sister/birthday post? its nice yeah just wanted to say that.

Birthday Eve!!

Waahhh!! I love my family so, so much!
It's my birthday tomorrow but my family celebrated it today cuz it's Sunday. I had a small chocolate cake(not that it matters cuz I don't eat cake) and we ate and took photos together and stuff. My two grandmothers came too!

Then my sis and I went to the playground together(mom was sending grandmothers home). It was so fun! My sister's into photography, and we had such a good time at the swing, especially with the ghostly effect she took cuz of the quick movement while I was on the swing. And there was this twirly thing at the playground that when you step on it, you'll go round and round in circles(probably some physics-y logic behind it). I did it till I was all giddy. Then we headed home together.

...And my sister did the sweetest thing.

I asked her to carry me home, piggyback. And she did!! My sister isn't very strong or athletic, in fact, she only weighs a few kg more than I do, which ultimately, still isn't a lot. Needless to say, she found me heavy on her back. She's never done this sort of thing when we were younger. In fact, I do think she hated me when I was younger, but she carried me home today, while I was on her back, screaming, "Waaaiii! Waaaaaiiii!!", like Kero-chan from Cardcaptor Sakura. I just love my sister so much ^^ ~ She's the best older sister I'd ever wish for. Though I'd be delighted if she had a 'sister complex' for me >.>

P.S.: A sister complex is where an older sibling is overprotective towards their younger sister. A rare trait.

Aaaaannnd, sorry for ranting here in the class blog. >< But hey, ya'll post off-topic stuff too.

Ok so here's my first post, but it won't be a long one (sorry, working on a tight schedule here...).

While everyone's posting songs and videos, I guess I'll do my part in joining in!

As you all (ok, maybe not all, but like 5 people?) know, my interest in music has diversified, meaning I'm no longer interested in english music, but I keep in touch once in a while, with Jap and Chinese music...

However! Not really mainstream Jap music though, as I'm about to let you know! Indie Jap, which sounds like shit, so I'll just call in "lesser known Jap music".

Ok, enough of the bantering... Here're a few (3 actually) Jap songs which I'd like to introduce by a duo of females who call themselves RYTHEM (no, I didn't spell it wrongly).

First song I'll introduce is called 夏メロ (natsu mero), which is, imho (in my humble opinion), a slow, soothing song to get to sleep. Here goes:

You'll be surprised at how beautiful Math is if you think the squares of nines are great.

Here's one example!~ I read it off a book somewhere.
1/7= 0.142857, 142857, ...
2/7= 0.285714, 285714, ...
3/7= 0.428571...
4/7= 0.571428...
5/7= 0.714285...
6/7= 0.857142...
The six numbers are always the same, 4 behind 1, 2 behind 4. Simply rearrange them. You can go on rattling these numbers for the longest time!! ^^

Squaring numbers is one of the most brilliant wonders of Math. Again, I read this in a Math book.
Take the number 48. Square it instantly? 8's a number tough to work with so...
48 + 2 = 50 48 - 2 = 46
50 x 46 = 2300
Hence, 48 squared = 2300 + 2 squared = 2304
Try it!

Squaring numbers ending with 5 is simpler.
They always end with 25.

Hence, the moral of the story is: Math books are fun! Go brag to your friends what you know and they don't! XD

i found a nice phenomenon.

99 x 99 = 9801
999 x 999 = 998001

and so forth....... its quite cool and im quite tired.

Well, seeing all the posts make me feel really nostalgic
But I just have one thing to say

Thank you to you all out there who have been supporting me all the time (unknowingly)
I know its not easy to have to abide to the rules and having the head councillor as your classmate

I keep getting the "writer's block" syndrome when I come here, maybe it's because there's just so much to say and I really don't know where to start.

Anyway, I really want to thank all of you who've been goign to 112 the past week, you've really added colour into my study life, leon, cuifen, jinglemingle, jacon, caleb, nat, zijian, thong, allicia, twisties(christie), yibei, robin, kueider, and anyone else who went, I'm sorry if I missed you out.

Keuider, I'm still amazed at how you solved the rubik's cube for me in two minutes! I think I owe you fifty cents, but I'm sure you're a NICE GUY!!!!!!

Zijian and nat, I'm also amazed at the speed you helped me shake the bottle ahahah, it was really hilarious and sometimes I just laugh to myself for no reason.

Each time I think of silly things like hiding under desks, taking photos, screaming, yelling, doodling on whiteboards, and other quirks like the unsporty trio, yaoming, three muskerteers, and happy birthday songs, I'll just smile to myself, and grin from ear to ear.

Our paths may not cross ever again after a period of time, but as the extremely cliched saying goes, "as we go on, we remember, all the times we had together". Maybe some were cynical about the whole happy birthday and class bonding thing, myself included, but now I'm sure many of us have gone past that stage.

Anyway I just want to encourage everyone to study hard and push on as it's just that one last short sprint that we all have left and I hope we'll all move forward together. (Leon, stop taking a REST after every part of a question =])

I've never dreamt that 4E would be the class that gives me unforgettable memories about class unity, class spirit and fun things doner as a class. Thanks to everyone for the memories, thanks for the prayer meetings, thanks for the acceptance, thanks for all the funny "bimbotic" comments and the list goes on and on.

This is weird, I don't usually blog like this, but then again, I don't usually get a class like this!

okay this past week has been a blast of a blast, and for all those who dunno, i sort of cried(teared) during prayer session, and i dun do that(muscles dun cry) so this class means helluva lot to me. I DARE SAY i will never get a better class(hopefully i will..not) lol. and 4E is without a doubt the best class i've ever been in, in terms of friends, sports,studies,spirituality and laughinglity.

darn, I LOVE 4E MAN! AHHHHHH!

The class selects the class committee, and the class committee is expected to lead the class to greater heights. But in the case of 4E, im sure Zijian, Cuifen and Joel will agree with me that the class committee has had little credit to claim from this great year. Instead, it took a combined effort of Mdm LiuXin , the teachers and EUGENE! to give us such an enjoyable year. And of course every single pupil in 4E had a part to play. and GOD!

man i really really really really really really really really love 4E, so sad i couldnt visit the blog yesterday to join that incredibly active spirit(i was sleeping, darn) but i felt so heartened when i awoke in the morning to see the blog so crazily full.

Darn... these days are as if the Os are already over. I had one hell of a day taking numerous photos, it was as if we were celebrities of some sort (the 4E-sian kind). Anyway I felt quite devastated to see the year ending so quickly. Fortunately, time heals all wounds. We will always have the 's.e.f.a.' among us all, just hope that it will not decay in time.

But for now, a major hurdle is ahead of us all. It's time to rev up our engines and push forward till the end of the Os. Make sure our engines don't blow just yet!

Before I forget, i would like to express my gratitude towards bryan, joel goh, daryl woo & tay, caleb as well as zi jian for making my sec 3 and 4 truly memorable.

These past week has been a really surreal experience for me. I've seen our class bond tremendously in this short span of time. When we first met each other in S3, we were'nt really bonded, but to see ourselves as such now, is really something.

Despite the big Os and countless hours of mugging around the corner, I'm sure that I'll take the time to reflect and remember the times that we spent together. I might even cry...LOL...kidding. Ok anyway on to the next point. Life's really really really short, so it won't be enjoyable at all if we don't take the time to smell the roses.

Even though we're gonna be liquidated soon, I don't think this is the end. Instead, it is more of a beginning. Fast forward 10 years. I hope that 10 years down the road when we're all doctors and lawyers earning BIG BUCKS, living the high life, we'll remember our humble beginnings lol. Big Things Start Small!

Whilst we will most probably have to say our goodbyes soon, I hope that we'll be able too keep in touch. Wait, that should be we'll definitely keep in touch.

guess what! i have been feeling really EMO, emotionally drained, physically drain the past 2 days so i didnt study at ALL! BUT.. GOD changed all of it, after i went home, slept at 9 ( i missed the show) and woke up, i felt so renew and refreshed! (its like drinking a whole bottle of mouthwash!-dont try) when i did my qt, i came across this short verse, it goes:

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be SAVED! Romans 10:13

how cool it that, anywhere, anytime, in the middle of a super hard amaths sum, trying to write a proper geog essay, you can just call on the name of the LORD! only 2 week more till the first paper, everyone is stressed and everything (i'm losing a lot of hair), do not fear!

for the lord is with you.

Yesterdays prayer meeting was amazing, the best i ever had with the class! although we are going to part very soon, but we must still keep in contact! just remember,

hey 4Eees,

It was great having to come across a class like no other, you have brought joy and fun into my life and was, is and always the best class I ever had in my secondary school years. However, all good things must come to an end, but this end merely marks the beginning of long lasting friendships among us.

This class is something I can boast about to my friends and family, thats how precious you guys are.

I have enjoyed seeing you guys doing extraordinary things in both acadamics and asthetics( i hope i spelled correctly) of which I am most envious of. Its like I'm a thorn among the roses. To be honest, this class culture is not exactly my type and I feel like an outsider when I first entered the class in secondary 3. It felt like I was walking among giants, but I guessed I got used to befriending giants after 2 years...XD

We must remain in contact with one another as we move on to our next phase of life. I hope someone can do something about my request..XD

Finally, I wish the best for all to acheive their hopes and desires, and even more because I enjoy to see my friends outshine me. It makes me proud and a reason to boast of what fantastic friends I have.

Mdm Liu: Its quite sad because she's our form teacher and we interact with her the least (or maybe its just me). Its been great calling Leon "leong", and many other funny english words I don't remember...

Mr Ganesan: One of the most relaxing and fun subjects. Lets remember the countless amount of food he gave to us. And the exam papers he threw into the dustbin... Thanks for bringing my D7 to an A1!

Mr Firhad: I remember that he is always moody and irritated on Wednesdays when he's stuck in the lab for the whole day. Keep screaming at us to hurry up. He likes to make fun of Rachel (lol), and you got to love all those weird stories he told us.

Miss Lee: I heard some of you guys calling her gangster teacher. I got to agree. Also always screaming at us, beating people up and stuff. Has to be the most vulgar teacher I've met too.

Miss Liang: Really caring teacher to me. She just looks so kind and caring. She hasn't scolded us before, has she? Looks like you guys don't have to put your bags on the floor anymore.

Miss Ong: We all kind of feared her in the beginning. Scary, fierce, teacher. Always checking whether we have done our homework, and letting us line up for 10 minutes outside the classroom before we can go in (I really hate that). We all got a bad scolding after the June holidays for not doing TYS. She suddenly seemed kinder after that. Maybe she realised she was too evil...

Miss Wong: Lots of funny comments come from her. Anti-government, anti-PAP or whatever. She makes these funny comments like "don't copy wrong answers from your friends" and stuff. We'll miss the lively "good morning Miss Wong", and how she doesn't want to be reminded she's old, and the way she shows her fist at you when you say something stupid.

Miss Hia: Band D people! Undoubtedly the most relaxed band out of the three, and definitely the most fun too. Really sarcastic. You should listen to how she sneezes, so funny.

I'm sure all of you remember more about our teachers than just this. Treasure your memories well, because once they are lost, they'll never be retrieved.

Study hard guys, hope to meet you guys and girls and ACJC!

Yah it is the end of the official school days ( and also my 2nd ever blog post), for me it was good while for others it was not. ( was ms hia crying during the thanksgiving?)

Anyway, since we are going to be seeing each other rarely during the study break (other than during remedials), why dont we all share our emails so that we can still stay in touch with each other even after graduation? How to do it, i'm not sure, im just suggesting. (maybe give emails to one person like caleb and he send it to those he know who want those emails, thus preventing
strangers from knowing us)

So what do you say guys? If you have already done this then consider this post something extra.

Cameras Galore

Okok this is my first time i have ever posted on a blog. If you all wondered why i can post, it is thanks to our vice-chairman (Zi Jian) who told us this blog's password.

Anyway to get to the point, we have about 3 cameras 'on action' yesterday and we have a whopping 5-7 cameras today (including Jacon's camcorder) taking photographs/video on our last official days at school. I think that we can easily get 100 pictures taken everyday at this rate!

Tommorrow is our last official day of school and other than an (somewhat expected) increase in the number of cameras brought (and alot more pictures taken with history's distinguished leaders).
Is there any thing you all have in mind to celebrate the ending of this school term?

I'm suddenly at a loss for words, you know, the feeling where you felt like you had lots to say but suddenly realised that nothing is actually materialising.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that, everyone should just try their best in everything and not give up on any subjects at all. Don't give yourself a chance to regret in future so do everything that you can now, and just have faith that God will help you along.

Okay, this is rather a killjoy I suppose, that I have nothing else to say, or I don't know what to say. Let's hope this "writer's block" syndrome doesn't hit anyone during the writing papers like English composition or the chinese counterpart.
